Capital Campaign

smaller-page-title

God has blessed us with facilities that are a "base camp" for our ministry - a place where seekers and new believers are made welcome, and where all followers of Christ are instructed in His ways and equipped for His service. The unifying theme of the identified projects is investment:

+  preserving the investments in facilities made by past "generations"

+  investing in places of ministry to future generations -- our kids and youth

+  investing to make our church a place of welcome and a place where people want to return

+  investing in the security of the building

  • Pray that work on the outside of the building will be able to begin and be completed in timely manner.
  • Pray for God to bless our body in unexpected financial ways so that our needs may be met.
  • Pray that we will have more than enough money to make necessary repairs to the building. “The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the Lord commanded to be done.”  Exodus 36:5

  • Pray for a culture of stewardship and giving to permeate the body so that future campaigns will not be necessary.
  • Pray that those who are not tithing will understand the Scriptural call for it. “Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me. But your ask, 'How do we rob you?' In tithes and offerings...Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse that there may be food in my house.  Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.”
  • Pray for a spirit of thanksgiving and praise for what God is doing and will do in the future.
